Let's build a popular messaging board, BoG style 🕺

For this project, you'll be checking out a GitHub issue on an existing full stack application. You'll learn how to:

• Interact with Git by cloning, pushing, and creating a pull request
• How to run a full stack application from the command line (spoiler: it's not hard!)
• For backend: How to use MongoDB to handle inserting and filtering elements
• For frontend: How to use state management and "lift state" to manage UI interaction

About this project

Basically, you'll be working on an existing clone of Reddit with a few key features missing. Depending on your frontend or backend focus, you'll tackle a GitHub issue and submit a pull request to complete the task. This is meant to simulate the project process we use every day in Bits of Good!

When's the deadline?

April 6th. Of course, this may be adjusted given our current Corona situation.

However, if you ghost bootcamp up until this deadline and don't give any updates... you may loose your spot :( I really don't want this to happen, so make sure it doesn't!

Can I work with a partner?

Yes! But there has to be proof that you worked together on the code. So, take a selfie while your working together, or let me know I should check your Git commit history (if you choose to use Git to collaborate).
